Take your field-to-fork skills to the next level with our Venison Butchery Class & Flame BBQ Workshop at our professional butchery in Ellon, Aberdeenshire. Tailored specifically for those who would like to improve their butchery for BBQ skills, this practical, hands-on course is designed to build confidence when working with venison meat. The course also covers bbq techniques for cooking venison over a live flame.
The class runs from 10am to 3 pm, with a 45 minute lunch break included – giving you time to recharge and connect with fellow venison enthusiasts. Lunch is provided along with any required equipment.
The morning session focuses on how different cuts can be cooked. Guided by our experienced course teacher, you’ll develop a deeper understanding of carcass structure and skills for anyone who would like to process their own venison for the BBQ.
After lunch, the focus shifts to different techniques when cooking meat over a live flame. You will leave for home with a selection of venison, prepared on the day and suitable for freezing.
